We are seeking an Experienced Unity Developer with proven XR/VR/AR expertise to join our team on a 6-month contract. You will primarily work on PatientVR, with opportunities to contribute to bespoke VR/AR programs as they arise. The role requires close collaboration with our design and engineering teams to deliver world-class immersive experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise Unity-based XR/VR/AR applications.
• Integrate applications with web APIs and external systems such as our platform.
• Implement UI/UX features tailored for VR/AR environments.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and project leads to ensure delivery excellence.
• Debug, test, and resolve technical issues in VR applications.
• Maintain secure development practices, ensuring applications are stable and safe.
• Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and sprint planning sessions.
• Contribute to bespoke VR/AR programs beyond PatientVR when required.
• Deliver a very high standard of user experience in the VR apps you develop.
• Independently be able to provide your own input, thoughts and industry experience.
• Manage the VR apps on our Meta Horizon store as required right from submission to publishing them to be live post Meta review protocols.
• Enable standard process in our VR apps for portability across to different platforms such as Android/Apple XR/Android as required for the programs.

Requirements

• Proven Unity3D development experience with XR/VR/AR applications.
• Strong knowledge of C# scripting.
• Solid experience with web API integration.
• Familiarity with VR headsets (e.g., MetaQuest, Pico).
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles in immersive environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team environment.
• Self-motivated, with good time-management skills and ownership of programs.
• Must provide own laptop with secure, malware-free software and active security tools.

You will design, implement and drive adoption of Continuous Delivery and DevOps utilising industry best practice frameworks, tools and process. You will mainly work with our internal team. The role focuses on CI/CD with a DevOps approach and manage all of our clients and our platform on AWS. You will have the experience and be confident in advising and consulting as required and know the tools to work independently.

Your role includes:

• Enhancing availability, performance and stability of services as well as automating away repetitive work.
• Responding to alerts and investigate issues in our services and take remediation measures.
• Mainly working on all AWS environments, monitoring data collection and configuration management, as well as disaster recovery planning, capacity engineering, reliability improvement initiatives and platform automation.
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a live production environment.
• Scripting and software development across one or more programming languages

Requirements

• Experience developing rich UI/Front-end for user-facing web applications.
• Strong experience with AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML DOM, HTML5, CSS3, single page web application and client side MVC architecture.
• Experience with data-driven web development, including strong knowledge of JSON and AJAX.
• Experience developing UI using Angular 2+ strongly preferred.
