We understand the distinctions between Personally Identifying Information (PII), sensitive information and health information, and engineer systems to limit or eliminate risk wherever possible. Our approach includes strong data minimisation, secure coding practices, segregated cloud environments and structured assessment processes that support internal and external reviews.

Mobiddiction developed PatientVR and VapingVR platforms to support behavioural change, education, positive pain management in controlled environments. These programs were engineered from the ground up to protect user privacy by design. They do not collect personal or health information and they operate without requiring an active internet connection, removing entire categories of risk related to data transmission, storage, consent management or cross system integration.

This architectural approach allowed state health departments to complete its internal privacy and security assessments with confidence, as many risk vectors common to digital health systems were not present in the first place. For environments where compliance overhead is high and risk tolerance is low, this provides a practical and defensible model for delivering effective digital health interventions.

The programs combine user experience design, behavioural science principles, immersive VR environments and clean operational processes to deliver reliable and repeatable outcomes in clinical and educational settings.

Mobiddiction’s healthcare capability extends back more than ten years, built through a range of national and international health programs.

We collaborated with Mayo Clinic on one of the first Apple Watch health applications at the time of the device’s release, contributing to early thinking around wearable based patient support.

We have delivered numerous wellness, coaching and behavioural programs with SP Health, engaging large consumer populations in long term preventative health activities.

We have built patient, nurse and medical professional education tools for Alexion Pharmaceuticals and supported programs with The Starlight Foundation, including the RocketCrew VR initiative designed to help paediatric engagement and wellbeing.
