Mobiddiction’s leadership team brings together more than a decade of delivery experience across government and enterprise programs, supported by deep capability in architecture, engineering, secure cloud operations, cyber security and emerging technologies. Since our founding in 2012 we have grown into a trusted consulting and delivery partner for complex programs that require reliability, security and long term stewardship.

We work closely with our clients’ program and technology leaders to translate complex goals into clear strategies, design the solution architecture to support them, deliver the technology itself, and keep it running at a high standard over many years. Our leadership group is hands on and involved in architecture, delivery governance, risk management and operational oversight. Their combined experience shapes every engagement we deliver.

Mobiddiction is founded by CEO Mike Vasavada. The company begins its focus on practical digital transformation and long term technology partnerships.

Delivery of the Wild About Whales program for the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service begins. This becomes a major statewide initiative involving mobile platforms, citizen science, mapping and wildlife data, and continues through to 2021.

Hamsa Muruvalu joins Mobiddiction as a Mobile Specialist Engineer
Work begins on a few programs such as Sydney Royal Easter Show and NSW SharkSmart Program for NSW DPIRD which becomes one of the longest running public safety and geospatial platforms in NSW and continues today.

CEVA Logistics engages Mobiddiction to create a integrated end to end vehicle transport system, with GPS tracking of car carrier trucks, barcode scanning of VINs to ensure correct vehicles were moved, and driver workflow and safety procedures.
Mobiconnect M1 launched as a platform.

Iain Chalmers joins as CTO / Chief Information Security Officer.
The NSW Government FishSmart Program for DPIRD Fisheries commences and is still active. The program delivers real time mapping, geospatial rules and mobile platforms for recreational fisheries.

Two major programs begin and continue to operate today. NSW Survey Marks for NSW Spatial Services launches, providing long term geospatial and mapping capability.

Mobiddiction begins its work with the Forestry Corporation of NSW for mapping, RTK GNSS, field mobility tools and spatial data systems – this is still an ongoing engagement in 2026.
Pharmacare engages Mobiddiction to plan and deliver mobile apps for it’s health and wellness products and subscriptions.

Delivery of the Get Permission mobile service for the DPI Game Licensing Unit, supporting hunters with rule access, permissions and compliance information.
Whiteley Corporation engaged Mobiddiction to rebrand and rebuild their website and integrate cleaning chemical handling and use education.

The Drought and Supplementary Feed Calculator for DPIRD Agriculture is launched and continues to evolve as an important tool for farmers and land managers.

Farmgate Auctions engaged Mobiddiction to take over development and managed service for their online auction platform. This is a real time auction platform with web and mobile apps, and a backend and database hosted on GCP.

Mobiddiction first uses drones and mission planning software for aerial imagery and data capture to use in geospatial and mapping projects. We delivered a Display Village Custom Map for HomeWorld and Augmented Reality at BBL Cricket Sydney Thunder Cricket Games.

We delivered our first 360º VR and engagement platform for global brand Genesys as a “Journey to Sydney” global SDR 2020 event with close to 2,000 attendees.

Stay Upright engaged Mobiddiction to modernise and rationalise their IT platforms, brand and website integrating course information and booking systems across several Australian states.
Completion of the Wild About Whales program after eight years of continuous operation across web and mobile platforms.

Genesys engaged us to deliver a World first under water global summit REEF 2021 as a 360º VR experience, our team travelled to Queensland to shot bespoke content in places such as Great Barrier Reef and Cairns.

With permission from NPWS, our client for the now closed Wild About Whales program, we relaunched the service as Whale Watch as a free app and platform for users, and as a technology demo for our geospatial and mapping capabilities.

Invocare engages Mobiddiction to modernise and standardise mapping their portfolio of memorial parks. We send drone and 360 degree photography teams to 14 venues across NSW and QLD to collect imagery and data, and build a platform and design a standardised graphical language to create maps in a consistent and corporate branded style, for both digital and printed use.
Mobiconnect M3 platform launched.

PatientVR launches for NSW Health – Nepean & Blue Mountains local health district and in QLD South Metro at Logan Palliative care and continues today. This work expands Mobiddiction’s footprint in healthcare technology and immersive therapeutic tools.

RocketCrew VR launches in Starlight Express rooms in partnership with Starlight Children’s Foundation at Sydney Children’s Hospital and Westmead Children’s Hospital.
