On the 29th of April 2011, Mobiddiction was officially registered as a business.

What started out as a sole trader nine years ago, headed by Director Mike Vasavada, has blossomed into a successful, innovative company with a number of talented employees who all play a pivotal role in creating some of the best technology on the scene.

It’s been a long nine years, and according to Vasavada there’s been some tough times but the good has definitely outweighed the bad. From the first project for mobile (Wild about Whales) through to customised job management platform Scribblr, Mobiddiction has carved itself a pivotal space in the digital world.

Mobiddiction has not just grown in size and capacity but has also achieved a number of incredible awards recognising the innovative, enterprise grade platform Mobiconnect. Not to brag, but it’s a great recognition of the time, energy and work ethic of Team Mobi. Some awards won along the way include:

· Gold & Silver Winners Design100 Awards – 2015, 2016

· Agency of the Year Design100 Awards – 2014

· Digital & Technology Collective AMY Award Winner – 2017

· ADMA AC&E Mobile Category Winners – 2015, 2016

· Excellence in Innovation Winners, City of Sydney NSW Business Chamber – 2016

A highlight has to be last year when the company won in the “Excellence in Innovation” category at the India Australia Business and Community Awards. A spectacular night hosted at the iconic Brisbane City Hall, topped off with an exchange of cultures and congratulations from Australia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Marise Payne.

This year also sees Mobi celebrate another feat, five years of working with the Sydney Royal Easter Show and the official Easter Show app to re-define event experiences.

And even though it’s been nine years, Vasavada still treats everyday like his first day all those years ago. Encouraging passion and creativity across the team.

Cheers to nine great years, loving what we do, and the many more to come!
