Aaah, awards season. That time of year where we may have to skip a few meals just to fit into our fave evening wear.
It’s the time for rehearsed acceptance speeches and of course, the rehearsed losing face.
Although that one is still a working progress.
Mobiddiction is no stranger to the awards season, having picked up quite a few in our time.
In just six years, Mobiddiction has grown from a one man start-up to an award winning team of technologists, UX and UI designers, and developers who deliver digital experiences that move people and brands. This time the team geared up for the 2018 Sydney City Regional Business Awards where we were nominated for the Excellence in Small Business Award.
Supported by the NSW Business Chamber, the 2018 Sydney City Regional Business Awards celebrates the business success of 100 outstanding finalists across diverse areas in the region including finance and professional services, innovative and fast-growing tech start-ups, creative and digital, retail, international education and tourism. The awards also seek to reward outstanding businesses whose passion, determination, innovation and success inspire other businesses and business people.

Held on Wednesday 25th July at the Sydney Town Hall, the awards ceremony was a beautiful purple affair and the room was brimming with business excellence.
Mike even got a selfie with Sydney’s Lord Mayor, Clover Moore.
Up against some great competition, the team wasn’t too disappointed in missing out. And while we know it’s cliché, we really were honoured just to be nominated.
And so, another awards season is done and dusted. The Mobiddiction team have brushed off the glitz and glam and are back to delivering creative and innovative digital experiences. Until next time …
